ICG recognises the importance of balancing business sustainability with social responsibility and remains fully committed to supporting and developing the local communities in which we operate. We believe that such initiatives allow us to give back to society while providing our employees with meaningful opportunities to connect with the communities around us.
As part of our ongoing community outreach, we carried out a broad range of corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) initiatives to improve and raise the living standards of the less privileged.
Jun 2023, Alacem LLP donated KZT 21.0 million (S$61,000) to provide prompt medical care support by donating an ambulance to the local community.
Jun 2023, Korcem LLP donated the hollow bricks to build a temple at the Karasu village, which is close to the Korcem plant.
Jul 2023, Korcem LLP donated KZT 7 million (S$20,000) to repair a school damaged by strong wind in Karasu village.
Jul 2023, Sharcem LLP donated tonnes of cement to renovate the Shaer Town Primary School in Kazakhstan.
Aug - Sep 2023, Alacem LLP donated tonnes of cement for the construction of a new school, the construction of a new mosque in Sary-Ozek, and to help rebuild employees’ houses affected by fire damage.
Oct 2023, Sharcem LLP donated a 50-inch LCD television to the local government of Charsk town.
